Who we are and what we do:
DeskJockey Entertainment is a developer and publisher of mobile entertainment. We have a simple goal- make cool, fun products and help others to do the same. We strive to help the "little guys", the independent creatives, individuals fueled by passion and help them help each other. If you are a artist, programmer, game designer or like the Founder of DeskJockey a bit of each then contact us. We will work with you to find the right individuals to partner with you to bring your game idea to market. From ideation and execution through to publishing.
We will guide and assist the team to success. After your product is published we will market and drive a media campaign to get your game noticed, pitch it to VC for advertising funding. We will continue marketing and capitalizing on its buzz throughout its life cycle and work with the developer on updates and promotions.
We will be with you every step of the way lending our decades of expertise in Game design, programming, producing and marketing to make sure your game becomes all that it is destined to be.

Where does it start:
Send us a link to your portfolio, idea or work samples. We will work with you to find suitable matches for your talents be it design, programming or art. We will help you build your team or help place you on a team.

From there we will help your team put together a game design document. From that document we will craft out a division of the work among the team members and assign value to each piece of work. This value is sweat equity you put in to the project that determines your equitable share of the proceeds from the project. The more you have to contribute, the more equity you receive.

We will draft contracts between all individuals on the team and act as mediator in the process laying out areas of ownership of the work to each individual and of the equity attached to each portion.

Once an agreement is reached and all parties have signed the real work begins..

During Development:
DeskJockey Entertainment will provide drive, direction and guidance to the team- We will function as the producer.
We will supply Github servers for storing of code and assets for all team members. This is to provide an easy way of supporting the team members while also ensuring accountability and security in each members contributions.

We will evaluate each build and give guidance and feedback. We will moderate the feedback through the team to make sure each stakeholder/contributor has their input voiced and it will be the team that decides what actions- if any- to take on the feedback. Remember this is your game and we are here to help, not control.

We will help you to understand how to monetize your game to get the best returns. We will help to prioritize and make sure your game hits all the KPI's and metrics needed for success.

As the game nears testing readiness we will begin to make teaser trailers and sizzle videos to begin building buzz around your game. We will draft testers and put them to work testing your game. We will collect feedback and disseminate that feedback to the team to address.

We will setup the Apple and Google storefronts for your product, connect all the IAP and Ad services, and connect you to our cross promotional system. We will assist you in the setup of analytics into your game so that you are tracking all the KPIs and metrics you and your team need to increase MAU/DAU and user retention.
Launching your product:
We will market and shop your game to VC firms, not for ownership or control of your game, but for capital to market and advertise your game. This where indy developers fall short- not having the money to market a game and get it noticed. You can make the greatest game, but it still needs those marketing dollars to get it noticed and downloaded. We secure funding to get your game noticed and increase install base.
The standard deal for investors is that for every $1 of investment put into marketing by investors they receive a maximum of $2 back. From the revenue earned from a game starting on day one, 75% of total revenue goes to you, the content creators. 10% goes to the investors up until they have reached their maximum ROI. Of the remaining revenue 10% gets reinvested in the game towards further marketing and user adoption. The remaining 5% DeskJockey Entertainment will use to keep the lights on, website up, and help other groups like yours in the Launch and Marketing phase- which very well could be your next title. After investors have received their ROI that 10% cut that has been allocated to them goes back to the team boosting your share to 85%. We do suggest however that you apply that 10% toward additional market and ad buys for your product- Or invest in another DeskJockey Entertainment tile, pay it forward.

Bi-Weekly you and the team will receive a breakdown of revenue and outlays along with checks for your share of the revenue. You will receive reports showing all the analytical data your game is tracking for you and your team to determine next steps in updates and the support of your product.

All DeskJockey Entertainment titles will have cross promotional material incorporated into them. Just as we are helping you we expect you to help others also. When your game is first launching it will benefit from cross promotional advertising in existing DeskJockey Entertainment titles. And as your game grows others will benefit from yours as well. Raising all ships together.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of reach out to us. We are looking forward to partnering with you.
